Over the past four decades, ANDRITZ Perfojet has installed more than 300 Jetlace™ hydroentanglement systems worldwide, transforming nonwoven fabric production processes. These systems have greatly enhanced the quality, efficiency, and sustainability of products across several sectors. Perfojet’s technology has not only set new standards in production quality but has also paved the way for sustainable practices in the nonwovens industry.
As the company looks toward the future, its commitment to sustainability remains at the forefront of its strategy. ANDRITZ Perfojet continues to push the boundaries with advanced solutions, including the neXline spunlace and neXline wetlace systems, which enable the efficient production of nonwoven fabrics from 100% sustainable fibers. Additionally, the neXdry air-through dryer and neXecodry energy-saving solution contribute to a 15% reduction in energy consumption compared to previous technologies, further solidifying the company’s focus on resource efficiency.
To support the green transition in nonwoven production, ANDRITZ Perfojet is investing heavily in R&D. Its efforts are focused on reducing plastic use while increasing the utilization of sustainable fibers such as viscose, lyocell, pulp, and recycled fibers. The company is also exploring new sustainable fibers like hemp, linen, flax, and wool, providing customers with the opportunity to process these materials through its spunlace pilot lines in Montbonnot, France.
